“More Sustainable Buildings” program has exhausted its budget of 4.5 million euros

“4,234 applications have already been submitted for the Notice “More Sustainable Buildings 2020/2021”, which predictably exhausts the sum of 4.5 million euros, the total allocation for this support.

Currently, 890 applications have already been paid, which represents an amount of 1.75 million euros.

The Ministry of the Environment and Climate Action informs that, given its success, this program will close at the end of December 2020, guaranteeing, however, that all applications submitted by that date will be supported through the Environmental Fund, with a reinforcement of funds, if necessary.

Applications will be reopened at the beginning of March 2021, with amounts already coming from the Recovery and Resilience Plan. Expenses incurred by those interested in applying, as of January 1, will be eligible under the new program, which is why they should keep the invoices/receipts related to these expenses.”
